Responsibilities:

• Interfacing between internal design teams, design enablement teams and external foundries on technology inquiries such as device characteristics, model, reliability, and DFM (design for manufacturing)• Developing of the best-in-class CMOS/SOI technologies with the foundry teams and external foundries• Supporting and validating multi-technology and cross-platform mixed-signal/RF IC design simulation flow• Releasing and supporting models in multiple EDA design platforms• Design and layout of device sub circuit test structures and detailed characterization devices for technology performance evaluation and modeling• Analyzing the performance of various semiconductor active and passive devices with respect to design requirement• Developing advanced device model formulations and model extraction algorithms• Perform device electrical and reliability characterization, if needed.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess a minimum of a MS degree (a Ph.D. is preferred) and a minimum of 5 year industrial experience in technology deployment and modeling of advanced semiconductor technologies. The candidate should also be familiar with advanced modeling methodology for advanced CMOS technology.Critical skill set should include: • In-depth knowledge in device physics and advanced CMOS (22nm and below) technology• Extended knowledge in device characterization, design, and protection methodology• Hands-on experience in HF and large-signal characterization• Behavior modeling for mixed-signal and RF design• Device ESD and reliability • Expert fluency in various EDA tools for mixed-signal design, simulation, and modeling• Experience in programmable device and memory IP is a plus• Highly motivated with excellent team spirit, strong ownership and openness
