As a Digital Design Engineer with a focus on MCU integration, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance mixed-signal IC’s serving the world’s top consumer electronics manufacturers. In this position you will be responsible for the integration of MCUs and MCU sub-systems for high performance low-power mixed signal IC’s in advanced CMOS processes.


  • Work in a team environment to create and engineer digital design subsystems from concept through to tape-out
  • Select and integrate MCU sub-system and peripherals based on chip and system architecture specifications
  • Work with Systems and Software teams to implement optimal MCU configuration
  • Convert subsystems into real-world final designs for integration into final product
  • Support tape-out and post-silicon activities including validation, characterization, and production test
  • Support post-silicon activities including validation, characterization, and product test

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MSEE and 5+ years or PhD and 3+ years of proven experience in digital design engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of Verilog RTL language
  • Deep understanding of the digital design flow from architecture, RTL design, verification, and synthesis
  • Organized and detailed with strong communication skills
  • Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience configuring and integrating embedded micro controllers
  • Experience in low power digital design techniques
  • Experience designing and verifying complex state-machines
  • Experience with mixed-signal design, simulation, and verification
  • Experience with back-end flow including synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis
  • Experience generating functional test vectors for PTE
  • Basic understanding of CMOS transistors
  • Strong lab and silicon validation skill
