Responsibilities
- You will work within a collaborative team environment to engineer and build digital design subsystems from feasibility through to tape-out
- You will model control loop feedback and signal processing algorithms using tools such as Matlab and Simulink
- You will contribute to the conversion of subsystems into real-world final designs for integration into final product
- Support tape-out and post-silicon activities including validation, characterization, and production test
- You will participate in the design and development of a variety of digital and DSP IP blocks that form the core of our high performance mixed-signal audio processing IC’s
- Provide mentoring of junior engineers and helping to lead small design teams while owning blocks within the design
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of technical expertise in digital system design
- Experience in writing of Verilog RTL language
- Proficient knowledge of digital design flow from architecture, RTL design, verification and synthesis
- Utilize your understanding of control theory and discrete time, z-domain, signal processing techniques
- Familiarity with FIR and IIR filter design
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Working knowledge of high level modeling tools like Simulink, Matlab, or similar
- You will bring experience designing and verifying complex state-machines that are incorporated into our mixed signal designs
- Expertise in mixed-signal design, simulation, and verification
- Experience with back-end flow including synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis
- Experience generating functional test vectors for PTE
- A basic understanding of CMOS transistors is a plus
- Strong lab and silicon validation skills
- Audio experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
