Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded firmware to run on bare-metal ARM processors.
  • Assist design team with bring-up and validation of new silicon.
  • Develop peripheral drivers for CAN, Ethernet, SpaceWire, I2C/SPI, etc.
  • Develop and maintain unit/integration tests to run within a test framework.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to verify and validate combined software and hardware functionality and write functional test patterns to run on the ATE.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up and debug PCBs.
  • Participate in review of source code changes and PCB designs / schematics.
  • Assist with integration of driver software with the customer’s flight software.


  • Software development, specifically embedded firmware applications.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ languages and development environments.
  • Proficiency developing embedded software to interface with serial (UART, SPI, I2C) devices.
  • Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.

Qualification and Experience:

  • An engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated applicable experience in embedded software development.
