  • BS Degree in technical field Material Science, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent (required)
  • MBA, Masters or PhD in engineering or scientific field preferred

Experience & Knowledge

  • 5-10 years’ experience working in semiconductors or semiconductor equipment technology (required)
  • 3- 10 years in Process, hardware, or device experience in semiconductors
  • 5 years in marketing, sales or customer support roles preferred
  • Understands product life cycle and managed product through all phases of development
  • Ability to work, communicate and influence multiple internal disciplines to drive product development
  • Direct customer engagement to present technical marketing materials and product value proposition
  • Understands how different capital equipment system functions in semiconductor industry
  • Familiar with semiconductor supply chain
  • High proficiency in excel modeling, creating presentation materials, oral presentation, project management and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and empower team

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead GPM Function and team for a Key Product Unit to support business objectives.
  • Product life cycle – Drive the product life cycle from concept to high volume manufacturing to obsolescence
  • Roadmaps – maintain product roadmap for a portfolio of products, periodically update roadmap through discussions with customers and internal experts, align product priorities and resources to roadmap
  • MRS – own the market requirement spec documents and ensure product development priorities align with MRS and customer needs
  • Business Planning and Market Analysis – Attend company operation/planning meeting, Create Business plan/Operation review materials, Create Business forecast based on market information, Support Budget planning, Competitive analysis.
  • Strategic marketing – Prepare go to market strategies for executive R&D expenditure requests, develop roadmap and product strategy presentations for executive level
  • New Product introductions – Detailed market analysis for inflections, development of business plans, internal executive alignment, positioning of products, pricing strategy, product strategy to meet business objectives
  • Customer Engagement – Support Technical Meeting with customers, Create and manage Customer presentations, Detailed market and competitive analysis
  • Support technical activities – Work with product development teams on specifications and data collection requirements, manage customer demo requests, prioritization of product development activities
  • Financial – work with finance department on NPV and IRR for products, maintain cost of ownership models; market share analysis and gross margin enhancement
  • Product Promotion – Create promotional materials for conferences and launches, Sales and product support training, Introductions to Customer
  • Supplier Engagement – liaison between engineering and supply chain to drive components to meet specs, timeline and cost
  • Develop Key Technical Marketing Collateral to be used in executive and customer presentations.
