Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Ability to strategically plan, align, and implement for Sustainability across internal and external organizations
  • Ability to navigate the organization and build relationships with business leaders at all levels including the executive team, and with outside organizations (e.g., Sustainability leaders, suppliers or other partners, , NGOs, et al.)
  • Ability to understand and parse a diverse array of technological aspects and drive materiality analysis, value creation models, and operational integration of social strategies
  • Collect and review non-financial sustainability reporting data in line with the agreed upon KPI’s, and continually identify areas of improvement
  • Cooperate as a business partner with global subject matter experts across the company including Global EHS/Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Human Resource (HR) organizations and outside in order to achieve business objectives while being in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Generate and distribute summaries, analyses, and reports to key stakeholders, including the Executive Team, in a manner that continuously drives change and inspires the culture
  • Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of Non-Financial reporting standards and guidelines
  • Act as internal knowledge resource on issues of Sustainability, monitor key and emerging legislation, advocacy, trends, competitive activity, and other issues of interest and develop strategies, metrics and action plans accordingly
  • Helping business partners in further streamlining and improving sustainable non-financial reporting processes
  • Work closely with suppliers, external consultants, internal stakeholder group’s team members, and global supply chain managers to ensure closure of any noncompliance issues
  • Maintain appropriate customer relationships and effectively respond to their inquiries
  • Problem solve, recommend, and implement complex solutions with required laws and regulations in all aspects
  • International travel required, ~15%

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, statistics, engineering and/or business required
  • MBA or other advanced degree particularly related to sustainability strongly preferred
  • Technology background strongly preferred, as we are a leading-edge technology company

Experience

  • > 15 years Sustainability experience, and >5 years of leading a substantial and broad-range sustainability program
  • Knowledge and experience implementing the recognized Code of Conducts, such as the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), both internally and with supply chain
  • Proven experience in sustainability reporting and/or auditing, preferably in a large multinational environment
  • Exceptional English communication skills in all forms, including written, oral presentation, and public speaking, for engagement with internal and key external stakeholders including NGOs, shareholders, customers, and industry groups
  • Knowledge and experience implementing recognized Non-Financial reporting guidelines
  • Delivering results in a multi-stakeholder environment, both internal and external
  • Proven experience influencing without authority
  • Managing complex projects with tight deadlines
  • Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility role experience in high-tech or semiconductor industry strongly preferred
  • Experience in, desire to work in, and demonstrated ability to thrive and adapt in a fast paced, changing/growing organization while maintaining focus on the strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
