This global organization is rapidly expanding its presence in the US. This site is a significant investment that will have an overall positive impact on the global economy. As the Head of Human Resources in the US, this leader will need to display a desire to be “one of the best” in the HR field.

Role

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company’s goals and objectives
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to management and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success

Talent Management and Development

  • Oversee the recruitment and retention of top talent, including executive-level positions, by developing effective recruitment strategies, building strong employer branding, and fostering a positive candidate experience
  • Develop and implement leadership development programs, succession planning strategies, and employee training and development initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement

Compliance and Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related legal matters
  • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, to drive employee engagement and development

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in HR
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Master’s degree, MBA, or PH.D. is a bonus
  • Global experience is important – working with teams outside of the US
  • Must be fully onsite
  • Relevant industry backgrounds must include manufacturing
