This well-funded start-up specializes in providing innovative computing solutions to meet the evolving demands of the tech industry. The leader in this position will need to be a highly technical “hands-on” engineer.
Technical Responsibilities
Advanced Microarchitecture
- Lead the development of advanced microarchitecture designs for digital RTL systems, leveraging innovative techniques and methodologies
- Collaborate with internal design teams to define microarchitecture specifications, develop architectural models, and conduct performance analysis and validation.
RTL Digital Design
- Oversee the RTL digital design process, from architectural specification to RTL coding and synthesis, ensuring designs meet functional requirements and performance goals.
- Define and implement RTL design methodologies, coding standards, and best practices to improve design efficiency, scalability, and reusability.
RISC-V CPU Architecture:
- Drive the development of RISC-V CPU architecture for digital systems, including instruction set architecture (ISA) definition, pipeline design, and microarchitecture optimization.
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure compatibility and interoperability of RISC-V CPU designs with software development tools and applications.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
- 10+ years of RTL Digital Design
- Extensive semiconductor experience (relevant areas include: CPU/GPU/RISC-V)
