This confidential startup redefines AI accessibility through innovative software and hardware solutions. As the VP you will play a pivotal role in defining AI strategy and driving the development of advanced accelerator software. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire AI technology stack, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring that software development meets the highest standards of performance and efficiency.

Compiler Development:

  • Develop AI compiler frameworks to accelerate machine learning workloads on next-generation technology
  • Partner with hardware design teams to develop compiler optimizations for high-performance
  • Implement advanced compilation passes that optimize artificial intelligence models, enhancing their performance and reducing latency
  • Lead the design and implementation of novel compiler techniques specifically tailored for our unique hardware capabilities

AI Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals
  • Lead the exploration of new technologies, trends, and advancements to maintain a competitive edge

Strategic Leadership:

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities across all business units
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective integration

Technology Execution:

  • Oversee the design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimization of AI models and solutions
  • Establish and manage the necessary data infrastructure and platforms to support initiatives

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, with a proven track record of success in leading and delivering impactful AI projects.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, compilers, and other relevant AI algorithms.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to develop AI ethically and responsibly.
  • Proven ability to build and manage high-performing technical teams.
